About me:
Artistically I have been a modeler for most of my life. Modeling was always fairly "easy" for me. However, there came a point when I felt that my lack of traditional artistic experience was holding me back from being as good as I can be. I feel building up that bassist intuition of what will make a piece look good is more important to being a good modeler than understanding how a normal map works or what good topology feels like. So I've started training myself in the mystical "fundamentals." As I slowly get better with one pillar I broaden my reach to another and another. One day I'll be solid enough to whip out stuff that gets an idea across likitysplit! But for now I draw, and try to keep drawing, and when I don't feel like drawing, I draw some more until my fingers have the imprint of my drawing utensil. Then I go have cheese cake.

Before you ask an artist for a commission consider the following. -What am I asking for? -Is it cheaper to do it myself or pay to have it done? -What is the actual cost of what I'm asking for? -How much am I willing to pay? You want an Artist to do a custom character; modeled, textured, and rigged at the quality level of vindictus ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9_ydtlg2LU ) as that seems to be a common desired quality. That's cool! But you want it for $80. That is not so cool. So here is a way to look at this request from the eyes of an artist. What do you do for a living? Lets say you are a doctor, a brain surgeon. Someone comes up

Welcome, now put out some cool stuff for me hah.^^
your art is really good and especially your 3d stuff too, awesome :D
If you wouldn't mind could you look at my art work and tell me what you think?Hug
Thank you very much!^.^
I don't mind looking at your work at all. I think your work is fun, lots of cute wolfies. I like that you mix up your designs here and there.
If you are trying to improve, You might give a look at a book called 'Animals Real and Imagined' by Terryl Whitlatch.
Also maybe take one of your designs and put it in a full body 3 quarters view with a clear light source effecting it?
thank you for looking at my work and the feedback is REALLY appreciated, I think you've noticed but nobody comments on my work which is fine but I would at least like some comments on how to improve n stuff like what you said about that book which I am gonna have a look at as for the full body thing I'll give it a try :D Thanks again, much appreciated Hug Hug
You are most welcome. I find encouragement to be good artistic fuel. Keep at it! =)
I am not well versed in deviant art culture or services but I do not believe this is the kind of site where critical feedback is given as a norm. 'conceptart.org', 'gameartisans.org', 'polycount.com', 'cgsociety.org', and the like would be better for crits and advice from more skilled peers I should think.
